At this time of year the farm hosts the '
New Year Hunt'. What ever your views, and I am pro-hunting as long as the animal is shot first before being given to the dogs. Living in the countryside you really do see the damage that wild animals can course, if left to multiply without intervention i.e. culling. I appreciate that the pictures of half eaten foxes is awful, however the activists never show pictures of what foxes do to new born lambs and calf’s as they are being delivered by their respective mums, especially if it happens in the field without the shepherd / farmer’s guidance.

The dogs whizzed by me and I wasn’t able to take a clear picture, they were all very excited and the hunt masters looked wonderful in their red uniform. I do hope nobody falls off as the conditions are awful today, still they are warmed up !!
